Springtime at CHOP

It is almost the weekend and that means day-pass and shopping. Meanwhile, here is a special update to Sarah's Team:

***

Today is March 20, 2007, approximately 4 months since my daughter's accident. Sarah continues to exhibit great stamina, tremendous spirit, and each day she makes progress with her therapy. She now utilizes a walker for short distances and her balance is improving, (AWESOME); her fine motor skills with there accompanying functions continue to improve and her speech is clearer with more emotion & intonation (FANTASTIC)!

Thank you all for you prayers. Many good and positive things are happening to Sarah at this time, however, she is still in need of your prayers. Her road to recovery is long. Sarah has some blurriness with her vision, but this has decreased and she has another neuro-opthalmology appointment at the end of the month. So, please continue to pray for a speedy, complete recovery for Sarah.

With my appreciation and love,

Sarah's Mom, Brigid

There has not been a day since your accident, Sarah, that we haven't spoken your name and prayed for your intentions. The school is missing your presence and personality. My class cheered when I read about your reunion with your dog. They are so happy to hear about your trips beyond the hospital walls. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Keep up the amazing progress!!!

Bridget, It was great to read your note on Sarahs place today. We were all talking about you and Sarah at the fish dinner last night. Everyone is praying for you all.

Sarah,
We think it is amazing that you, Brigid, your cousins, your aunts, and your extended family (Aunt Sharon and Aunt Denise) could have such an awesome time at the King of Prussia Mall.
You have started a "sisterhood of the earring" which convinced 4 (four) adult mothers to adopt your style. Go Sarah!
Love,
Bill, Denise, Patrick, Julie, Kyle, and Pal's brother, Astro

Brigid,Mark and Sarah,

We continue to pray for you
sarah and your family. Sarah its great to hear the progress your making. We miss you so much! I think about you every day. I look over at the choir and picture you swaying as you sing to the Heavens.
The angles are listening Sarah. Don't stop singing.

Brigid,

Bob Kalinowski here from The Citizens Voice. I've dealt with Herb Godfrey in doing several stories since Sarah's accident.

Please don't hesitate to call me with updates on Sarah's condition, or any fundraisers/events you guys have planned.

Thanks, and good luck.
